Hello All,

I am having an issue with line work labels being "over labeled" in the new Map Viewer. It appears to only show in the map viewer and not in the web maps.

Below is the Map Viewer:

Below is the "Map Viewer Classic":

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Perhaps and Esri dev can elaborate on this, but I believe it has something to do with how the JS 4.x API is rendering feature layers.

You can see sometimes as you pan/zoom that feature layers are loaded and rendered as "tiles", and when a feature spans a "cut line" between tiles, it tends to repeat its label.

I believe it is a known issue, but I'm having trouble finding the precise bug report.

Thanks for responding, if it is a bug hopefully they will resolve it soon.

I imagine they will, wish such a big push towards the JS 4.x tools. You can also post something like this in the Ideas Exchange, just to make sure that it's on Esri's radar, and see if it gets updated to "In Project Plan" or similar.
