Need help with a zipcode problem w/ Arcgis app for Key West, FL
I have built a arcgis map & app for my dept. to be able to easily find power company outage maps, by address or zip code. We use it to determine a power outage before rolling one of our own techs.
This is based off the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation-Level Data (HIFLD), Electric Retail Service Territories, map. I have modified the map database to point to the power company's own outage map. Using a standard Arcgis webapp allows each geolocation search interface with this map to easily find a power company's outage map based on address, city, and zipcode.
Here is the Power Lookup app I created.
The problem: The Arcgis app cannot properly poll 33040, Key West, FL, USA
A.) If I search 33040, Key West, FL, USA in the application it doesn't produce any results.
B.) Directly from "full edit" of the map, it finds it just fine.
I'm not sure if th app is having Geolocation issue because of the territory of ocean, and "island" vicinity.
