Map Notes not Displaying correctly in Presentation, unless it's in Silverlight

Hi

My presentation will not show the map notes as they appear in the slides, I lose the bounding box and background, each note is strung right accross the screen.

I am on Windows 7, and the same fault happens in Chrome Firefox and IE9. The only way I see the Map Notes correctly is when viewing the slides in ArcGIS Explorer Online, or starting the presentation from there (so it runs in Silverlight).

Any help would be appreciated because - yep, you guessed it - I need to make a presentation of this material on Wednesday.

I have attached a view of the good and bad representations of my notes. Every note was based on a 'feature template' that I had created.

Is there any solution or workaround to this feature?

Thanks for reading!

You've encountered a limitation of the ArcGIS.com map viewer. Background colors and text wrapping are not currently supported. Only ArcGIS Explorer Online supports this currently.

Thanks,

Thanks Mike.

I will try and limit approaches to my presentation so that they come through channels in which the presentation is visible in the way intended.

For others who might be experiencing this problem:

You can open you ArcGIS.com map ready to start a presentation with the following kind of link

http://explorer.arcgis.com/?present=e55499fe3a9448e3a3587b00241f0955 <---- your itemid

Your presentation will effectively not be 'Embedable' if it contains notes that wrap or rely on a background color in order to be legible.
