<br class="esri-text-new-line" /> shows as text in Pop-up title in Sidebar (Instant App)

Hi, I'm currently working on an instant app in ArcGIS Online. First I've used the template "Basic" and everything worked fine. Now I wanted to change the template to "Sidebar". I'm using the exact same map/data as before. But suddenly in some of my pop-up titles " <br class="esri-text-new-line" /> " shows up as text after the actual title (see screenshot). This didn't happen with the "Basic" template. How do I get rid of that? Or is it an Esri bug and I can't do anything to fix it?

Did you ever find out what was causing this. I'm on version 4.27 and I am seeing this on a development instance... the site is using a jquery migration tool from 1 to 3, while we update our code to use jquery version 3. I was thinking it maybe something to do with this.
