Hello,

I am following the inspection workflow as demonstrated in this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqC-EEw3nxY

I have editing privilege on all my hosted feature layers. I create my join layer with my related work order table , and when I edit the related record in field maps, I can see the change reflected in the related record, however the join layer I made to display the work order data does not automatically refresh. Meaning, I have to make the join layer again if I want to display updated information.

Not sure what I'm missing to make this layer automatically update.

With your data in ArcGIS Online, what do you do next? I'll build a web map that can be used by other web applications. Then, I'll dabble in Arcade to control our map's symbology dynamically based on the most recent inspection for any asset. Please check out some of our other videos about this ...

Hi @esriuser12345, are you using Map Viewer or Map Viewer Classic to create the join?

If you are using Map Viewer, the option to create a Hosted Feature Layer View Join, which is what will make the layer update dynamically as the source data updates, is not available in the Join Features tool in Map Viewer. Instead, there's a new way to create a hosted feature layer view from a join, located on the item details page of your target layer. You can check out the documentation here and this great blog post about the new method.
