Issue with International Dateline

Hi Everyone,

I have a polygon layer that I have published to ArcGIS online. This layer apparently has the international dateline pass through a portion of it. And it is making the island that it passes through look like it is halved in two. This isnt an accurate representation of the polygon layer and only comes up because ArcGIS online in map viewer allows for this to show.
Also if you select a polygon from any of the areas that pass through the dateline the map wont zoom in but it will zoom out to a global level thus making you to either manually zoom in using your mouse or select another area that isnt impacted by the dateline issue.

Any help on changing this so that the dateline is removed from  the online map as well as when these areas are selected they dont always zoom out?International Dateline issueInternational Dateline issueMap zooms out when layer that is selected of which the dateline passes throughMap zooms out when layer that is selected of which the dateline passes through

This might help -- it's a video (didn't watch) but it sounds like it addresses this issue
