Is there a way to modify subtype definitions of hosted feature layers?

Greetings!

I created a series of hosted feature layers for landscape fieldwork purposes (uploaded from ArcGis pro). The subtype and domain definitions I defined in ArcGis pro work fine in both the webmaps and fieldmaps. However, I need to apply minor changes to the subtype definitions of some subtype fields. Can that be (safely) done in AGOL, or do I need to re-upload updated feature layers? (which I would like to avoid, because I already defined 420 offline fieldmaps based on the original feature layers).

You can do it through agol. If this layer is in a database that Pro users also need though you would need to reconsider.
