I am not able to bring in the same server service url into an AGO map twice. The map will initially allow me to do so, but gives an error when I reopen the map "Unable to load" (the duplicated url). This happens even if I rename the layer to something else. Is this a new feature? A bug?
I was previously able to bring the same service url (layer) into a map to represent it 2 different ways with customized popups...please bring this back.
Thanks

Hi Lakshmi,
This is an issue that has come up with the latest release of Chrome. Copied layers can be viewed in other browsers and Chrome in previous versions
BUG-000098445 -Copied layers fail to load in the map viewer using Chrome version 52.0.2743.116. Please contact Esri Support to be attached to the bug for tracking.
Thanks,

I'm using Chrome version 52.0.2743.116 on my desktop and laptop. The layer loads on my desktop but not my laptop. The layer is a map service from my on-premises ArcGIS Server composed of 3 data layers. I have also noted this in Existing web map layers are not responding and cannot be added to map in Chrome
FYI there is a related issue to this bug as discussed in this thread: Existing web map layers are not responding and cannot be added to map in Chrome
Data and maps will not load correctly in this version of Chrome if a hosted feature layer is shared with "Everyone". ESRI support said they are hoping Chrome developers push an update by the end of next week (hopefully by Friday, September 2, but who knows!).
