Good morning, I'm developing a viewer using Map Viewer. The problem I've encountered is that anyone querying the attribute table can modify its contents.

How can I configure the data to be query-only? I've noticed that, in some cases, a lock icon appears on each column when the data is protected, but I don't know how to activate this option.

Hi Diego,

If you want to turn off Editing for the layer in that map, you can do the following:

  • Select the layer
  • Open Properties
  • Go to the Editing section
  • Toggle Enable editing to the off position

If you want to turn off Editing for that layer in all maps, you'll need to change the Editing settings for the layer.

Best, Emily
