How to invite members to my Organization to manage API Keys

Hi,

I am new to ArcGIS Online. My company purchased the ArcGIS Developer Builder annual subscription so that we can have multiple members manage resources such as API Keys. This subscription comes with ArcGIS Online Organization.

After I accepted the subscription license and logged in to myESRI, it first asked me to Request Access to connect to my organization, which was confusing. Then I clicked on the Account Setting, and after being redirected to maps.arcgis.com, then I clicked the Organization tab menu.

I can see there is an Invite Members button, but it is disabled.

Why is the Invite Members button disabled and how can I invite others to join so that they can help manage API Keys?

Hi @DickySum

Without joining you on a call I can't be sure what buttons you are referring to.

In any case, each Developer subscription comes with two ArcGIS Online accounts. The first will only have a single use and is just for hosting production apps. The second ArcGIS Online subscription that you can activate is the Dev+Test Subscription. This has 2 Creator and 3 Viewer licenses that I believe will suit your needs. Please refer to the following article to set this up:

Hope this helps

Hi, thank you for the information. Unfortunately, the information wasn't helpful.

The only info that I didn't realize was the ADS code. I entered the ADS code and I was redirected to the following page with no subscription code:

If I go to Account and Settings -> Organization, I can see have some sort of subscription, but again, I can't invite any members. Maybe I misunderstand how a member is and how it supposed to work:

Hi @DickySum

I'm sorry to hear you are not up and running yet. Thanks for sharing the screenshot. This is likely to be the first ArcGIS Online subscription that only includes one creator license. It is my prediction that the Dev+Test ArcGIS Online Subscription still needs to be activated.

If you navigate to developers.arcgis.com you should have the option to activate your Dev+Test subscription. See step 8 from the blog I shared originally.

If this doesn't work for whatever reason I recommend you reach out to Technical Support

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I looked at the screenshot and noticed that the ArcGIS Developer Dashboard is on an Annual Plan.

It appears the Creator Plan is only for ArcGIS Online, and I need to set up another subscription plan for ArcGIS Developer. Currently, I am only on the free Essential Plan.

There is another account called My ESRI. I was able to get onto my company ESRI account after a month of investigation on who owns the company account administrative right.

Do I have to go on to pay-as-you-go plan in order to invite members or create tester account?
