Hello hello,

Do you have tips and experiences to share on implementing the ArcGIS Online Portal interface with the Salesforce platform? I found ArcGIS Connector documentation on Salesforce's website, and mostly commercial Salesforce material on Esri's website, but not yet technical documentation and examples of implementations.

Together with our partner, we are planning a customer portal implemented with Salesforce technology, and the portal will have functionality that will allow end customers to make a claim for damages on the map. The plan is to add a map embedding to the customer portal, which allows the customer to place a dot-like object on the map to indicate where the damage has occurred. The purpose of the map is to act only as a point X-Y coordinate collector for further business needs.

The idea is to:

  1. Experimenting with how ArcGIS Online or another suitable Esri map functionality could be embedded in a service made with Salesforce technology. The map should have the possibility of adding a point-like object and recording the coordinates.
  2. Try how it is possible to implement the collection of coordinate data so that it also combines the metadata of the claim for damages so that we can use the data for analysis later.

    Thanks for the tips.
