So, I decided to try out a trial for online subscription for organization just to test it out and see what it was all about. Now that my 30 day trial is up it has locked me out of all data and map creation as well as all maps that I created even before having the trial. Is there any way to delete my trial subscription and revert back to regular Arcgis online and keep access to the maps I had previously created?

Btw Error that I am getting is: You do not have permissions to access this resource.

...from my trial expiring that was supposed to retain all information once it expired. Thanks for the help in advance.

I am in the same boat as Chris. I received the email telling me that everything would be reactivated until the 19th of August, when I log in though it says that my account is still expired and I do not have access.

We're now on our 3rd day and I have yet to hear from Customer Service about renewing or otherwise opening up the account.

The account was reactivated by the end of that 3rd day. At the UC in San Diego I was given personal apologies for the clumsy handling by several people, including the director of sales. I felt their responses to be genuine. This is new territory and there are many things yet to be worked out. I guess that's why it's called the bleeding edge.

We have to shoulder some responsibility as well. It's never been good practice to base a production site on a trial service; whatever I was thinking when we put this into service, was wrong. 😉

Henry,

Your account should be available now as well. Let me know if you still have problems.

Thanks,

Now that my extended trial has ended all of the content originally associated with my global account has become inaccessible once again.

Can someone at ESRI please fix this once and for all?

Paul,

Just so I understand you correctly, you don't intend on subscribing and you want to revert back to a personal account.

Hello,

I've received notice that my 30-day trial for ArcGIS Online for Organizations would expire on 9/3, however, I can still log-in.  At this point, our organization has a full/educational subscription. I don't need any of the data or content to transfer, but I do want to use the 'short name' for the official site. When activating the account, we were unable to use the desired name, since it had been used/(is in use) for the trial. Secondly, is it possible to change the 'short name' of either site, after it has been set during activation?

Thanks, Russ

Yes, that is correct.  As I understand, users were not meant to use an existing global account when registering for the trial but a few of us managed to slip through early in the process.  The end result is a loss of access to content that predates the trial period.
Thanks

Dear Esri
I am in the same boat as it seems many other users.  I have my own user account for Arcgis online and used this to test and evaluate ArcGIS for Organisations.  Trial period coming to an end in next couple of days and I don't want to use the personal account and things  had been testing under that.

User account to presevre as personal account is JJARS. Please use associated email to that account for any dialogue.

Can someone sort this before I end up locked out of everything.

Hi ESRI
We are in a similar situation, personal account used to open a trial at which all groups and maps are transferred. The trial has ended, we would like to subscribe but here is no means as yet in Australia, our sites that were previously using maps are now locked out and this is costing us $1000's of dollars a day in lost time. Is there a resolution or can the trial be reactivated.
