Hi,
My organisation has a number of bad tags (eg spelling errors, typos) which I would like to update. Is there any way to get a list of all tags used within my organisation so I can try and tidy these up. I have looked at the geojobe admin tools but this seems to need to know what all the bad tags are, is there any way just to get a list of all tags and update the ones needed? Is there a workflow anyone has followed that I could even potentially send out to serial bad taggers to fix their tags.
Thanks
Sarah

I am not sure of any such script/tool.
Just sharing a blog on Using Tags Effectively, that you can share with other members with your organization.
Maybe you could ask the owners of the map services to cross-verify the tags and change them wherever required.
Maybe the GEO Jobe Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online can help with that task: Video Link : 2856
Thank you both for your replies, I have looked at the GEO Jobe Admin tools and unfortunately it just allows you to remove or add tags not update ones so I need to get a register of where all the bad tags are so I can update those ones.
I have found a way to export a list of all items in my organisation using the Geo Jobe tools and then mess about with it in excel but it is extremely clunky. Hopefully future releases for AGOL will include an option as an administrator to review and update all tags used by their users.
You could post an idea here in GeoNet with that idea.

Late to this discussion but if you're an admin to your portal, check out ArcGIS Item Information
It's a prototype application so YMMV but I've used it to clean up our portal's tags in a fairly efficient manner.
Seth, thanks for sharing this. I just checked out the prototype app (just FYI, on my iPad using Safari), and it works nice. My first attempts using the windows more on the right side did not seem to work, but once I found my tag one the left I needed to change, it worked slick. It was very easy to see one of my tags with a clear misspelling. I was able to change the tag across multiple items and change once. Thanks again!
Seth, how did you get it to access your portal?

We were using named user accounts last year so I didn't need to enter a portal name. I don't know how it would work with SAML/ADFS logins.
