I am currently working on an ArcGIS dashboard that includes several detailed elements. I use the "Details" element to display information related to my work at the Center for Emergency Management and Homeland Security. The dashboard should be interactive so that clicking on an item on the map or zooming in and out will update the information shown in the "Details" section.
Here’s what I have done so far:
I have added a map and several "Details" elements to display specific information about selected features.
I also added icons for each "Details" element through HTML code.
For my map, I used pop-ups to display detailed information about each feature.
- I also cleared the browsing history to ensure there are no cache-related issues affecting the dashboard's functionality.
I want to configure actions such that selecting a feature on the map updates the data shown in the "Details" element.
However, I am unable to set up the necessary actions because the "Map actions," "Layer actions," and "Accessibility" options in the map element settings do not work. Clicking or configuring these options does not work.
Could anyone please provide detailed instructions or examples of how to set up these interactions? Here is the link to my dashboard that I am working on.
