Help adding Feature Service to ArcGIS.com

I'm attempting to add a Feature Service to ArcGIS.com as I want to leverage the web-based editing capabilities for a collaborative editing workflow.

When I choose Add -> Add Layer from Web -> Add ArcGIS Server Web Service and enter the URL to my feature service I receive the following error message:

The layer, ada_test_56, is not available and cannot be added to the map.

The URL is formatted as follows:

http://170.93.140.79/ArcGIS/rest/services/Transportation/ada_test_56/MapServer

The service is a feature service.

The ArcGIS Server instance from which the service I�??m trying to add is published is secured via Windows Authentication.

Do either of these factors cause this error?

Yes, the security is the problem. ArcGIS.com map viewer doesn't currently support accessing secured services.
