Hi,
Has anyone used a USB GNSS receiver (Columbus P-9 Race in my case) to accesses location data in Experience Builder on Google Chrome on a Windows 10 machine?
I bought the P-7 only to discover that it does not support the Windows Location Sensor through a COM port.
In a way my real question is:
Assuming my USB GNSS Receiver can send location information to Windows, through Microsoft Maps and its Location Sensor Driver. Will Chrome and and ArcGIS Online (in my case ArcGIS Enterprise) be able to use that location as its location using the "Locate Me" widget in all of the web maps etc. The use case is a windows based sewer inspection camera software on one screen and Experience Builder on the other to orient the user to the manhole/gravity main being inspected.
I assumed all of this would be simpler GNSS, USB, Windows old tech. It's 2024 plug and play.....nope.
It's been a fun project, any feedback appreciated.
Thanks,
