I created a feature layer in AGOL to be used in a Web App that was created in Web App Builder and has a dashboard created in AGOL Dashboard.  It has over 2 million records.  We have 2.5 million electric poles.  I uploaded the records from multiple excel extracts, created by division from ArcGIS Pro, intersecting with another layer, the circuits.  I had defined the layer in AGOL, but I am now seeing maybe I should have in ArcGIS Pro, and then shared it to AGOL.  I have over 2 million electric poles in the layer on 3,245 Circuits.  I was able to generate a list for 2000 of these circuits.  Does anyone know how I can get the remaining 1,245 in there?  I was able to bring the layer into ArcGIS Pro, hoping could add the remaining uploading from excel, but the domains were read only.  Please do not tell me I have to add over a thousand manually in AGOL List.  I wanna cry.  😞  Is there a way I can increase the 2000 limit?  Thanks for any and all help.

I have a filter widget in the web app for circuit, and a filter defined in the dashboard also.

I believe you have three options:

  • Add the values manually
  • Update the service JSON
  • Republish and overwrite the layer from ArcGIS Desktop

Republishing the layer seems like your best bet.

You can also choose not to use domains. If they aren't being edited etc. They can still be filtered...
