I'm basically looking to replace the functionality of the Data Dictionary Editor in Trimble's Path Finder Office, and for use in Terrasync. I have done searches to see if forms have these capabilities to no avail, so I am here.
Is it possible to configure forms to auto-increment a number, and to repeat a value in a field?
We have to collect simple attributes, but hundreds of times a day. I need data entry to be streamlined and efficient. The points we collect have a number with a letter prefix. For instance, A1, A2, A3... B1, B2, B3... etc. The numbers and letters are in separate fields and are combined later.
I would like that letter value to repeat every time a point is collected.
I would like the number to auto-increment by 1 every time a point is collected.
This would allow the fieldcrew to collect a new point, and only have to confirm the information before submitting it. Is this possible?
Those are my 2 high priority functions. In Terrasync I could require that another field, wetland type, to be a required field if the number =1. Is this possible?
