Experience Builder swipe widget for multiple layers

I have a map with seven layers, each showing aerial imagery of a college campus from a different year. I want to use the Experience Builder swipe widget to allow users to choose two different layers and compare them to each other. Is there a tutorial on how to do this?

What I want is similar to the swipe tool on this page.

Did you get this to work with the leading/trailing layers in Experience Builder? My historical imagery WAB application did this very nicely before all of this added complexity.
