I'm using ArcGIS Online and embedding a map into a Squarespace site. This same site used to be hosted on a different platform, and we had the map set up to point to custom images as a URL from that old site (referenced here). However, it looks like as Classic Map Viewer is being moved, the ability to point to URLs for images isn't an option either. If I use images uploaded to my Esri account and point to those (as mentioned here), will that still show up in the embed? Thanks for any insight!

Hi Kathryn, you are right, MV does not support pointing to image URLs , but we do support custom images https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/using-images-as-custom-point-symbols and these will be honored in the embed. Be sure to use one of the updated embed options outlined here for best results though: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/share-maps/embed-maps-groups.htm
