Creating Map with Zip Codes

Hello,

I am looking to create a map that shows zip codes of participants but hoping to change the color based on the number of participants. Is that possible with the layer method below or is there a better way?

The easiest way to make a ZIP choropleth map (<--cool map nerd term) is to use the Excel plugin.

If you don't have that, it's going to be uploading the table and doing the table JOIN to the LivingAtlas ZIP layer. That's what the procedure in your link does.  It's worth knowing that technique, no matter what.
