I'm trying to create a profile of a line shapefile over a raster DEM.
I've created what I believe is a 3D feature (the shape column in the attribute table is Polyline ZM).
No matter how I do it I always end up with a flat line in the graph. When I draw/digitize a line it always works and captures the elevation in the graph. Is it possible to create a profile from an existing shapefile?
