Hi to all,

I up loaded a service to my online account. The attributes came in however inmy tables in the shapefiles I have a number of fields that have a currency property. When they are uploaded not only do I lose my alias names I also loose the currency property.
Is there a way that I can bring these both in. I know I can change the alias field online but I can't figure out how to change certin fields to show dollar signs.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
Frank

The fields won't show dollar signs if they are numeric fields. What you can do is set the number of decimal places to 2. Alternatively, you could use a text field with a dollar sign when importing your data.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have a customer that has created a map on ArcGIS Online, and enabled the pop-up. But when pointing on an object theres only an empty pop-up that says that there is no information. The layer that my customer use is their own MapService created with ArcGIS Server 10.1 (but the service is on their own network so it´s not reachable outside the office). My customer can see the map and the layer but can´t see any information in the pop-ups.

The difference compared to 10.0 for the environment is that there were services completely open (no login) from outside. Now you must be logged into their network to reach them. But my customer can add the layer to ArcGIS Online and can see the symbols on the map, but the pop-up information does not work?

Does anyone have an idea why this is so?

Jonas H.

The display of the data gets sent directly to the browser. So as long as the browser is inside the firewall, it will be able to "see" the service. However, the query for the popup requires the service to be visible outside of the firewall. Thus, it fails.

Thanks,

Mike
