I have a layer that I've filtered to only show categories that we are interested in but the legend still shows all categories. Is there a way to only show categories that I'm interested in and not show the categories I filtered out?
Solved! Go to Solution.
this is how it can be done in Map Viewer:
Add the layer and click on Styles in the right side toolbar.
Set your symbology, assuming you're visualizing based on a field.
In my example, assume you don't want to show IB in the Legend.
Hover over the six dots on the far left of that symbol and drag it down below "Other" and it will no longer show in the Legend.
Note that when you do that the parcel colour will be replaced by the colour for "Other" and be grey in the map itself.
To bring it back up to show in the Legend, click on the up arrow to the right of the number.

Thanks! I knew I was missing something easy/obvious.
