This question may have been answered before, but I haven't been able to find anything specific on this. I put together a web map with data hosted from our server, shared it with my client, but they are unable to view the map on their laptop. However, when they open it on their iPad in the Explorer app, they can see the data with no problem. They're using the same wireless network so I don't think it's a firewall problem. Any help on this would be great. Thanks!
I know of someone who had a similar problem: they couldn't view webmaps on their desktop computers but things would work fine on the iPad with the Collector app. The way they were able to fix it was to create an exception for the GIS server port in their network settings. I don't know the specifics of how they went about this, but I could put you in touch with my colleague if you'd like.
Yeah I should have mentioned it, but I've had a similar issue with another
client. I'll get them to try that out and see if that helps. Thanks!
Hi Kayla
Is the offer to put one in touch with your colleague still on? 😅
