Cannot delete a webmap shared by a personal ArcGIS Online user on Subscription accoun

Hello,

I have a user who is a member of an ArcGIS Online subscription group using his Personal ArcGIS Online account. After being a part of the group, he went ahead and shared a web map with the Subscription Group. As the "Owner" of the group I am unable to un-share it or delete the web-map. The only way I can get rid of it is by removing him from the group.

Is this by design? If yes, then it makes no sense as the Owner of the group has the privileges to share- unshare items shared by "Members of the Organization" but is unable to do so with Non-members of the Organization but are a regular member of the group.

Any input on this would be appreciated.

This is not possible because you as the admin have no access control over the personal account. So, the only way to remove the item would be to ask the user to unshare it from the group. Or, alternatively, you can remove the user from the group.

In general, users who participate in groups owned by the organization should also be members of the organization.
