Hi Mike,
I know that the status is still that WFS layers are not supported in the online map viewer. But do you know if there is any plans in the road ahead for adding WFS support?
Otherwise I guess we'll still have to add extensions like Geocortex in a solution to support WFS layers...
Best Regards
Søren T
Hi Søren,
There are plans to provide wfs support within the mapviewer. We are looking at different options, and it may be late 2015 by the time we can support this. At this time, we are looking at possible options. Sorry, I cannot provide more specifics at this time.
Thanks,
satish

Hi Satish
Thanks for your reply.
It’s good to know that Esri is actually planning to support this – we are looking forward to it

That´s right Søren.
I'm sitting here on the train home from an excellent DK ESRI user conference in Copenhagen, packed with loads of ideas about new and better ways to get GIS 'in play' online and especially on mobile devices.
I am so disappointed that WFS is not currently supported in web maps. Otherwise I would be able to sit here, using just my iPad and check up on the mapping that my colleagues back home has been doing the last two days. But the only web service available outside the office on this particular project is OGC WFS.
And my contractor doesn't support REST since the standards for the project is based on the OGC.
Oh I long for the fall 2015 to come if the previous comments is a fact.
Thanks for bringing up this subject.
