Can't share web application with public

Hi - I just built a web application using this template:
http://whrc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/preview.html

How can I share the application with the public?  I've checked the "everyone" share box.  But a url prompts all viewers to log into AGOL.  Our organizational account is set up to "Allow anonymous access".

thanks for any advice,

Greg

Hi Greg,

Can you verify that the web map and hosted feature service that are displayed in this web application have also been shared with everyone?

I can navigate to your webmap, but am unable to view the feature service layer.

Cheers,

Kelly

Kelly - thanks for the reply.  I verified that the underlying webmap was shared with 'everyone'.  However, upon clicking 'OK', I received an 'updating sharing' notification.

Can you see any changes now to the application on your end?

I am having the same type problem sharing with everyone with this web map:
http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=a97bae071a5d457e86c0abae8a94b1ea
All the layers are either Basemap or from ArcGIS online.
Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issue with this web application

http://www.arcgis.com/apps/OnePane/basicviewer/index.html?appid=be35359d789c416cb6717c766dd7e12b

for some reason it's requiring the public to sign in first

Here I am 8 years later (!!) still facing the same problems reported here.

Kind of sad.
