We track usage of our GIS website with Google Analytics, which is hosted on our local external site. We have a mix of applications, some are on our local site and some are hosted on arcgis online. I would like to track the arcgis online apps with our google analytics tracking code but I am not sure if that is possible or how to do it.
Can I attach a snippet to an app hosted on arcgis online that is using the templates.

No, you still have to download.
Here's a marketplace provider that may be of interest.

It is not possible to make modifications to a hosted web application. The only way to track usage with google analytics, would be to download the application and deploy it on your own web server.

thanks for your speedy response
Hi,
It's 2017...any update on adding google analytics to AGOL without downloading?

On Maptiks FAQ page, they state "No. Unfortunately it isn’t possible at this moment to integrate with Google Analytics."
I discovered that the Basic and Sidebar Instant Apps allow users to add their Google Analytics code. I'm not sure if this extends to all Instant Apps or not.
There is now a way to do this using a new Hosted Widget that has been created by Exprodat and posted on ArcGIS Marketplace. The widget is called GA Bridge and can be found here:
