ArcGIS Webmap - Group Layers

Hi All,

I'm simply looking to know if anyone can tell me how to group layers within the ArcGIS.com webmap? I am looking to map various routes but would like to give users the ability to turn on and off individual routes without having to import an individual layer for each.. For example it would be a layer named "Routes" and within that they could access "train" or "bus" routes? Is this something that would have to be done within arcmap before importing into the webmap?

It is not possible to group layers in a web map. Nice idea though.

Yes, this is still true. Currently this enhancement is not on our schedule for upcoming releases. The best way to promote ideas like this is through our ideas site.  http://ideas.arcgis.com/ideaList?c=09a300000004xET&category=ArcGIS+Online
