Hi everyone,
we’re currently using ArcGIS Online Web Maps embedded in Microsoft Teams via ArcGIS for Teams and noticed an odd behavior with the layer list.
In the regular AGOL Map Viewer, the web map is perfectly fine. However, when the same web map is added as a tab in Microsoft Teams using ArcGIS for Teams, group layers appear duplicated in the layer list. This happens even though the web map itself does not contain duplicate layers and works correctly outside of Teams.
For our context, creating or maintaining a separate “Teams-only” version of each web map is not a realistic option (we are working with a large number of existing maps), so we’re trying to understand whether this is:
- a known limitation of ArcGIS for Teams
- expected / by design behavior
- or something that can be configured or avoided
