ArcGIS Online Public Feature Layer Search Results

There is an AGOL feature layer that we want to share to the public, but we don't want the layer to show up on AGOL search results from anyone outside the organization. Is there a way to do this?

Hi @MichaelWen_Timmons, ultimately if the layer is shared publicly I don't think you can limit the ability for people to find it via search.

However, you could consider making the layer private, then re-adding the feature layer to your AGOL content as a new 'referenced' service as per this documentation: Limit usage of secure services—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation

You'd need to limit the usage of the service specifically down to your AGOL hostname e.g. https://myorganization.arcgis.com.
