The online labeling feature is very nice for the webview maps (from the online account). But the labels (set up in the web map) do not show up on the ArcCollector maps. Any ideas on how to get your labels to show up in the Arc Collector maps. The only label management options related to label size, color, bold, italics, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Yes, I'm able to add labels to Feature Services (hosted on ArcGIS Server) in my web map. This is a nice addition, but I also can't see those labels in Collector.
Unfortunately, Collector doesn't support labeling yet. It's something we're working on, but not currently scheduled as part of any release this year.
Thanks,
Mike
It would be really great if Collector could have labeling enabled soon. Seems to be one limitation that holds back my clients workflow.
Just discovering this limitation today, is there a workaround for collector labels yet?
I also want to see labels in Collector! Collector behaves a lot better in the field than AGO, but without a labeling option, users have to click on features to see what it is named.
I've been wondering if there will be or is an option to remove duplicate labels for features or feature layers in AGOL? If you have a streets feature layer uploaded, how can we prevent every road segment from being labeled?
Is there any updates about Collector for ArcGIS supports Feature Label?
Justin,
It looks like it is still in the product plan to add labeling:
