ArcGIS.com errors when using HTTPS and IE

I have some secured ArcGIS services served out through ArcGIS.com. I want to use the ArcGIS.com map applications but they fail  in Internet Explorer with a  "HTTPS security is compromised" error.

The app needs to be accessed via HTTPS because of the password/authentication but the ArcGIS.com map app makes calls to non HTTPS resources.

IE Error:
SEC7111: HTTPS security is compromised by http://utility.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Geometry/GeometryServer/project

Anyone have a workaround or is there a way that ArcGIS.com can use protocol relative URLs?
