At the UC, I was shown how to add a Google Map Imagery Hybrid to a basemap by adding a new item and then adding it to the basemap gallery. Somehow I can't replicate it here. Can anyone help? thanks!
Carl
Hello @CarlNettleton , I see a quite recent post on what seems same (or similar) topic, maybe it helps?
https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/google-earth-as-a-basemap-within-pro/m-p/1635119

I also read this here: "Later this year, Esri will be releasing a 3D basemap that integrates Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles": https://www.esri.com/en-us/c/product/google-maps-platform-photorealistic-3d-tiles-in-arcgis
@CarlNettleton - You can do this by following the steps.
Open MapViewer and add Layer by URL
Use this as the URL
Google Hybrid
https://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=y&x={col}&y={row}&z={level}
Complete the prompts to name the layer and it should be added as a basemap.
Save the map.

Some other services if you need them.
Google Satellite https://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=s&x={col}&y={row}&z={level}
Google Terrain Only https://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=t&x={col}&y={row}&z={level}
Google Terrain https://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=p&x={col}&y={row}&z={level}
Google Hybrid https://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=y&x={col}&y={row}&z={level}
I can do all the steps, but then there is nothing there but a white basemap. Thanks! Thoughts?
@CarlNettleton - That's unexpected.
Are you able to share some screenshots of the steps taken.
Does it add the google basemap without any errors?
I followed all the correct steps. There was no error message and it is in the basemap area.
You can also create a custom basemap group and add those you wish everyone in your org to see under the basemap option there.
