ArcGIS Online should work with the full capabilities of OGC WMS layers. Currently it displays them but you cannot query them or use the information in analysis. This makes complex layers unusable - my example is geological maps with very many categories, where some colours are similar to each other. The legend is impossible to interpret visually, and so a simple point-and-click query function is essential.
