Vary symbology by width (for 3D)

In ArcGIS Pro you can vary a symbol sizing in both HEIGHT and WIDTH using attributes.

In ArcGIS Online (scene viewer) I can only scale a default symbol by height. 

My use case: I have point features representing trees with a height and diameter of the tree. In ArcGIS Pro I can visualise the point as a tree feature using the built-in tree symbols and apply proper height and width. I want to use this in ArcGIS Online too. Currently, all trees will have the same width, while they should vary by a secondary attribute.

Is this already on a roadmap somewhere, or a new idea?

Thanks for your post. This is in our backlog but not yet planned for a release. 

Did you try to publish a webscene directly from within ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Online, once you have visualized the points using the tree symbols and properly applied height and width?
