I really like the ability to group layers in the new map viewer, and save them as a group layer. It would be really great if you could select multiple layers at the same time to create a group, or to remove them, rather than having to do that individually. I don't think that's possible at the moment.
Perhaps this could be either using a radio button or just using shift and click, with selected layers highlighted. Then right click on one of the selections to add to a group or to remove.
