I would like to be able to save the current symbol to added styles in AGOL. I mainly upload layers and symbology from ArcGIS PRO. But if I have to change things around, I no longer have access to that symbol unless I save it in a style file in pro, upload to agol, and then add the style.
It would be very helpful to have another category under added styles like "saved symbols"

In your organization settings you can enable this. You will need to have the styles uploaded from ArcGIS Pro to AGOL first, add your styles to a group and set the group to the web styles.

Then is will look something like this next time you go to add a style. The Vector styles are all my custom ones.

Thanks! Still, that requires uploading a style file right? I was wishing to just have the ability to save a symbol. Are we able to add least add a symbol to a custom AGOL style from the web map?

You can upload the layer or map to arcgis pro and add all the symbols to a "style" then you share it back our to AGOL. Thats my current workflow, I'm not sure if you can do it from AGOL only.
