In ArcGIS Online, text values have any leading and trailing spaces automatically truncated and if two or more spaces are next to each other in the middle of a text value, they are collapsed into a single space. For example, a text value " I 008 1 " is appears like "I 008 1" in the pop-up box, dashboard filters, tables, etc. This is causing problems for teams that need to copy these values and paste them into a separate application.
A workaround was found through this Esri question. However, that only works where arcade is available. So, this solution is unavailable for filters in ArcGIS Dashboards. I understand this is likely an HTML issue but there should be a way for AGOL to account for this.
