I don't see a forum for ArcGIS.com yet, so I'm using the forum for ArcGIS Online instead.
I really prefer the way that ArcGIS Online was doing the "Open" possibilities (i.e. listing all of them outright instead of hiding them in a menu). I'm never going to just click on "Open" itself because I don't know if I'm going to be popped into another window, download a file that I can use, or download a file that I can't use (e.g. if I don't have ArcGIS Explorer installed). So I'm always going to have to click on the tiny menu button to see what my options are. But this is a real hassle! I want to be able to quickly scan for usable (to me) content. That has become harder with ArcGIS.com.
At the very least, "Open" and the menu button should be combined and all of the options should appear when I click on it, forcing me to choose how it's opened.
Good web design demands that the consequences of clicking on a link be known beforehand. Right now that's not true in ArcGIS.com.
