Multiple Symbology Views for a Single Layer

We'd love to see an option for creating multiple symbology views for a single map layer in AGOL. We often want to visualize our layers based on several different fields in the attribute table.

We often create duplicates of our layers to create different symbology views based on the same feature layer. However, we think it would be very nice to have "symbology views" worked into a single layer. It could give the user the option to choose from pre-set symbology from a drop down list on a single layer in a web map. This would prevent us from having too many duplicate layers to handle these multiple symbology views, and would reduce other layer updates needed to keep the duplicate layers in sync (for example, we wouldn't need to update pop-up details on every duplicate layer in the table of contents).

Thank you!

Hello! Have you tried creating a custom expression in Arcade?

This link goes over the steps in great detail...

Thanks for the suggestion! However, that's not exactly what we're looking to do.

We'd like to be able to set several different symbology types or "views" for a single layer. Ideally this would be saved for the layer, and whoever is viewing the web map would be able to select a specific symbology type from a list (or something similar).

What we'd like to get away from is creating duplicates of our layer, each with its own symbology type. Instead, we'd like to be able to do that with only one layer in the Table of Contents.
