Editing Templates for layers of Feature Layers are currently always edited via the Map Viewer of a Map containing the layer, but saved in the Feature Layer.
That is very counterintuitive for me and possibly more users.
The idea is to make is possible to edit the Editing Template of a Feature Layer without opening a Web Map by adding the option "Configure Editing" for editing Forms and Editing Templates, as it exists when editing the layer in a Web Map in the Map Viewer (see image 260424_MapViewer1) in the menu on the right side in the Visualization tab of the Feature Layer (see image 260424_FeatureLayer).
