A common task as a GIS specialist for remote teams is heads-up digitizing on a Zoom call. Usually this is accomplished by opening up an ArcPro session and sharing the screen.
It would be very helpful to have a shared mark-up layer for web maps that anyone with privileges could add to, with a focus on live updates, freehand drawing, and annotation at a fixed scale.
I realize this is sort of possible already using a feature service, but a layer much closer to in functionality to Field Maps' markup feature that is designed for multiple users to use during a meeting would be amazing.
It would be nice to have this savable across sessions for reporting notes from the field as well. Instead of a cumbersome process of using Field Maps when 99% of the time the Web App builder will do, it would be nice to have this function. Otherwise, users have to take a screenshot in Windows or take a photo and email it. GIS markups should be integrated into GIS.
