There are times when we want maps to be limited in how far a user can zoom in or out. I t would be nice in the map viewer beta if we could manage the zoom scale levels available to the users.
We don't have plans to implement this at the Map Viewer level. I think this would be better suited for app level control where basemap switching can be limited to specific basemaps with same tiling scheme or no basemap switching at all. I would post this in Experience Builder forum to get them to expose this control like WAB currently has.
