It would be useful to 'invert' your selection filter whilst viewing your Items in AGOL. This would make it easy to find data that is *not* categorised, grouped, a map etc etc. This simple function would double the power of the search tools.
Once the user has filtered and selected Items, it should be possible to maintain this filter setting as desired. For example, it seems the filtering is lost when coming out of Item Details or navigating generally about AGOL tabs;
