When you try to create a heat map using spatial view or even a feature class that added to #Insights for ArcGIS through direct database connection, it will be created successfully. However, If you do any zooming or panning on the map card will vanish!
The only way to create a stable heat map is to create it from a feature service.
I hope you could fix it as working with direct database connection is mush more easier and faster than publishing feature service.
