Identify duplicate items within my Org

As my Org's AGO  Admin, I'm discovering that some of my colleagues are publishing their own copies of items, wasting credits rather than pointing to a single source. It would be fantastic for help to quickly search my organization's items for potential duplicates--could be based on size, geometry, or something else.

Just identifying the issue would be helpful, but as a bonus, it would be great to have scripts that could help identify any maps and apps pointing to those duplicates, change them to point to the single source item I identify, and delete the duplicate items (after notifying my colleagues, of course).

Yeah, would be good to have a report that would list any child item that's been created by a user from, for example, a hosted feature service within AGOL. Just like hosted views will show the parent item.

Suppose the downside to this would be where users download a dataset, manipulate it in ArcPro, then upload - it'll be seen as a unique piece of content.

Alternatively, would just running a scheduled item report and using it within a process to identify similar items work? I know not every workplace has an AI policy, but perhaps feeling the report into an AI workflow would give you what you want (I may try this myself as I fall foul over time to duplicates).

Maybe, as the platform matures, this is something ESRI would look at as part of AI Assistance within AGOL -

Update;

Didn't spend any length of time beyond a simple prompt, however, this is part of an output created using appropriate AI tooling. I've also not carried out any sense checking or prompt improvement. From what I can see, there's a number of items I can verify that I would look at anyway, and knowing some users' content - yup - there's a fair bit of work to be done.
