Quite frankly, I'm in entirely too many AGOL and Enterprise groups. I work for a national organization and serve two distinct offices within it, as well as being part of a few national programs. What this leads to is a way too many groups when I go to search for stuff.

I'd like to be able to place each group in a (nested, PLEASE nested) folder so that I can see all the groups related to one office in one place, etc.

I could (and do) name them consistently to aid the search function, but that's not cutting it. I like the search function and I think it's handy. I still want to be able to navigate my stuff as a hierarchical structure.

The current filter options are not cutting it, either:

A crucial wrinkle to this is that each user should be able to organize the groups that they're in in a way that makes sense to them. So, if Jane and I are in the exact same groups, she should be able to organize them by how much she likes the other people in the group if she wants, while I organize by how much I like working on those projects or any other metric I so choose.

Please let us organize Groups into folders according to each user's preferences.

This has been submitted as ENH-000181136: Customer wants greater categorization options for his Online Groups, allowing him to sort them into Folders and Categories.

What does the customer want?

The customer would like to be able to create and use folders for their groups page in the same way that they do in their Content page (https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-to-create-a-folder-on-the-arcgis-online-content-pa...).

Why does the customer want this?

Like Content, navigating and managing groups quickly becomes unwieldy if you are in more than10 groups. Being able to organize groups into (nested) folders relative for each user would allow for easier navigation. The filter functions available and the search function are not as efficient for the user as navigating a folder structure.
