Hello Esri team,

I’d like to suggest an improvement focused on enhancing charting and analytical visualization capabilities within ArcGIS Experience Builder.

Currently, the available chart widgets are quite limited compared to the analytical flexibility found in ArcGIS Dashboards. Expanding the range of chart types and customization options would significantly improve how users can present and interpret spatial data directly within Experience Builder apps — especially for organizations building analytical dashboards, operational monitoring tools, or GeoBIM integrations.

Here are some suggested improvements and new chart types that would add great value:

Dual-axis charts (combine bars and lines on the same graph)

Stacked and 100% stacked area charts

Scatter plots with trend lines and regression options

Radar / Spider charts for multi-criteria analysis

Box plots for statistical analysis of attribute distributions

Donut and semi-donut charts with dynamic legends and drill-downs

Time-series charts with moving averages, thresholds, and interactive range filters

Sunburst and treemap charts for hierarchical or grouped data

Heatmap-style charts to visualize frequency or temporal density

Additionally, it would be very useful if these charts could:

Support multiple data sources or layers simultaneously;

Allow filter interaction and cross-highlighting between widgets;

Enable custom styling, including labels, colors, and tooltips via Arcade or expressions;

Provide export options (image or CSV) for analytical reporting.

These capabilities would make Experience Builder not only a design tool but also a powerful analytical platform, reducing the need to depend on Dashboards for advanced visualization.

Thank you for considering this enhancement — it would bring great analytical power and flexibility to the Experience Builder ecosystem.

Best regards,
Sanderllan
